About Base32 Encoder

Encode text or binary data into Base32. Unlike Base64, which uses upper/lowercase letters and symbols, Base32 uses a 32-character set strictly consisting of A-Z and 2-7. This makes it case-insensitive and safer for human transmission over voice or handwritten notes.

Why Use This Tool?

Base32 is frequently used in Two-Factor Authentication (TOTP) secret keys (Google Authenticator codes) because it avoids ambiguous characters like I, l, 1, 0, and O. It guarantees the data remains intact even if the case is changed by a mail server.

How to Use

  1. Enter Text.
  2. Click Encode.
